GUILT-FREE GOODNESS
I can't get enough of salads. I love to eat as much raw
foods as possible.
My favorite salad of the moment is...
BABY BEETROOT, CHICKPEA, WALNUT AND FETA SALAD – YUM!

This delicious salad takes me 5 minutes to whip up.
Replace the feta with blue cheese to mix it up and if you don’t like beetroot then replace it with roasted pumpkin

DRINK TOO MUCH COFFEE?
Try drinking herbal teas.
No sugar or dairy needed, much better for the waist line.
My favorite at the moment is fresh ginger tea. It’s cheap, easy and fantastic leading into the colder months!
Ginger tea is the best treatment for colds, according to traditional Chinese medicine. It has strong yang energy and warms the stomach and lungs. The Chinese have been using it for 2,500 years to treat congestion, sinus pain and sore throat.
To make ginger tea, cut several slices of fresh ginger; add to water and brew - the longer the stronger. If you want to add a little sweetener add ¼ teaspoon of honey.

• Ginger tea can offset the craving of sweet drinks
• If your stomach is upset, a glass of fresh ginger tea will settle it.
• Known to be good for indigestion
